Tag – I’m It

Tim has a missionary heart for his hometown to love those close to him yet far from God. He is husband to Dusti and father to Nolan, Aiden, and Adelyn - fellow pilgrims to our celestial city.

During the interview last week, I was tagged by Joe.  Here are the rules:

1.  Grab the book closest to you.

2.  Open to page 123; go down to the fourth sentence.

3.  Post the text of the following three sentences.

4.  Name the author and book title.

5.  Tag three people to do the same.

When I noticed the tag and followed the directions, here’s what I came up with:

“That goal [every human community having the opportunity to hear, believe, and freely accept the gospel] lies beyond history.  Kingdoms will pass away.  The earth itself and the cosmos will pass away.  In the end Jesus Christ will be seen as the one to whom authority is given.”

– Lesslie Newbigin, The Gospel in a Pluralist Society

Now, let’s see. I tag Steve Weaver, Nathan Finn, and Michael Haykin.  🙂
