Tim has a missionary heart for his hometown to love those close to him yet far from God. He is husband to Dusti and father to Nolan, Aiden, and Adelyn - fellow pilgrims to our celestial city.

This week seemed like it just flew by.  With classes in full swing, I have worked to develop a new structure to my daily and weekly routine to achieve greater discipline with my time.  My classes are in the morning this semester, beginning at 7:00 a.m. (except for one), which have required a new sleep and study plan.  Something I discovered with WordPress is that you can schedule your posts ahead of time which has been nice.  That way I write and post something at my convenience, only to appear on the scheduled day which helps to keep a steady stream of stuff.  Speaking on stuff, I am coming close to my 1000th post.  That’s hard to believe!

To the images: These sunrise shots were taken at the Red Cliff dock at the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore at the northern tip of Wisconsin (hence the title).  To see another sunrise pic I took from this lovely place, go here.  The Apostle Islands are beautiful and rarely visited.  Much different from the Appalachian Trail, Smokies, and N.C. mountains, you can backpack several miles without encountering a single person (I guess that could be a bad thing).  If you are ever there, be sure to check out the sea caves.  I will continue to post more of these images in the days to come.

One last note: I hope to take some pics from the upcoming Baptist Identity Conference next week, of which I hope to post a smattering here.  Since there will be so many bloggers and “bad” people there, I will be sure to bring my paparrazi lens to catch some good candids.  😉

  1. Thanks Terrisa. I am not there yet. I am trying to think of something fun to do but haven’t come up with anything yet. This afternoon I was thinking of all the things I have done a thousand times in my life. Needless to say, writing and posting on a blog would have never entered my mind two years ago! In any case, I have enjoyed it, especially the opportunity of meeting and hearing from so many people like yourself. I am grateful that anyone would take interest in my offerings, and I hope that in the future, I will continue to provide content that is edifying and thoughtful. Thanks again, and have a great weekend.
