  1. He did this at a concert I attended in Ridgecrest, NC, several years ago. The Pentatonic scale is a harmonically natural scale and the human ear hears it well. It’s found in all music around the world. It’s speculation that Amazing Grace was set to a slave melody, but it’s entirely possible. I love to hear this man sing anyway. It’s refreshing to hear something other than the tenors that are so popular today. I’m a baritone and there is so very little CCM stuff written for us to sing.
