That’s right. Today’s the big day. Having met with the docs yesterday, Nolan is primed and ready to go (a scheduled inducement is already set). The only thing left to do is for him to lay faced down (he is currently faced up). Please pray for my wife (Dusti) today if you think about it. She is a little nervous, but we are all very excited and grateful to God for this journey together as a family. Oh, and my goal is to make it without the oxygen mask. ๐
Obviously, blogging is going to be random at best in the days to come, but I still have some stuff scheduled to post. One of the things I scheduled each day is an advent hymn for meditation and celebration.ย In any case, thanks for praying for us, and for all of you who have been so encouraging and helpful over the past 10 months.
Future photos of Nolan can be found at his photo set on Flickr.
Woo-Hoo!! Waiting to hear the wonderful arrival of Baby Nolan……..keeping you, Dusti and Baby Nolan in prayer. (okay, and Hershey since Hershey’s world is about to change too) Tell Dusti to go with the epidural, that pitocin can be rough even for the strongest woman. Trust me——I know what I’m talking about after 7 babies and 5 inductions! ๐ I am so excited for you all!
Praying for Dusti, Nolan and you. May the Lord bless you on this wonderful day!
My wife was induced with our first born and it took 22 hours to deliver. I don’t say that to freak you out. I am more hoping to prepare you for a possible long labor. Brother, we are all praying. We can’t wait to see Nolan and we hope he looks like his mommy! ๐
Timmy,
Will be praying brother . . . Praise the Lord.
Billy
Tim and Dusti,
Congratulations! I am so happy for you both. I have been reading your web-site for awhile and am thrilled for you both. I have a 7 month old son and he has been the most incredible experience of my husband and I’s life. I look forward to seeing pictures when you get settled.

Tim,
First time on your blog site and look at the great news I come a cross, congratulations to you both (Dusti and you). Prayers are already in the making and be sure to have some pictures of Nolan available!
Happy holidays and BEST REGARDS to the family,
Edward
Awesome!!! Thanks Hershey!
Woot! Congrats. I’ll be praying for you and your fun schedule. I’ve been there with a Seminary Baby and working at UPS. Fun, fun, fun. ๐
I can’t wait to hear the news of his arrival!
What a joyful occasion for the two of you, and what a great time of year to give birth (so I’m told). We have one two days before Christmas and one two days after. Blessings to you and congratulations.
I’m so excited for you & Dusti! I’ll be praying for a short & smooth delivery for her!
I hope all goes well! Enjoy every second of the birth–it only comes once with this child in a lifetime!
Just one of many best friends of Dusti,
Danielle
Praying for you brother! Tricia and I will be listening for every scrap of info you can give us, since we’re only 6 weeks behind you!
And I agree with Terry. We don’t need any more Ahmadinejad look-alikes running around. One is quite enough. ๐
Congrats. Will be praying that all goes well. Inducement can be a difficult time for expectant moms. Must be a big baby on its way!
Praise God! And welcome to fatherhood! It is a wonderful thing. You, your baby and your wife are in my prayers.
