Tim has a missionary heart for his hometown to love those close to him yet far from God. He is husband to Dusti and father to Nolan, Aiden, and Adelyn - fellow pilgrims to our celestial city.

I started a new series on Twitter a couple of weeks ago, called “50¢ Word(s) of the Day”.  Here’s the second installment from this past week:

Mondaynon posse peccare –> not able to sin (the condition of humanity in the final state of glory)

Tuesday
beneplacitum Dei –> the good pleasure of God (the ground of God’s elective choice, cf. Eph. 1:5)

Wednesday
articulus stantis et cadentis ecclesiae –> the article of the standing and falling of the church (justification)

Thursday
actus fiduciae –> the actualization of trust (actual faith resting on the truth of Christ)

Friday
dies Domini –> day of the Lord (2nd coming of Christ, day of final judgment) #maranatha

Saturday
exinanitio –> self-emptying/self-renunciation (Latin equivalent of Greek kenosis)
