Tim has a missionary heart for his hometown to love those close to him yet far from God. He is husband to Dusti and father to Nolan, Aiden, and Adelyn - fellow pilgrims to our celestial city.

I started a new series on Twitter this past week, called “50¢ Word(s) of the Day”.  Here’s the first installment from this past week:

Sunday: membra ecclesiae militantis – members of the church militant

Monday
: Crede, ut intelligas – Believe in order that you may understand (Augustine on belief & reason)

Tuesday
: coetus fidelium –> the assembly of the faithful (term used to describe covenant community)

Wednesday
: Evangelium est Deus absolvens et Iustificans –> the gospel is God absolving and justifying

Thursday
: gratia Spiritus Sancti applicatrix –> the applicative grace of the Holy Spirit (regeneration)

Friday
: cor incurvatus ad se –> the heart curved in upon itself (Luther on heart idolatry)

Saturday
: analogia fidei –> analogy of faith (Scripture interprets Scripture)
