  1. An addition to reading it is also helpful to record your thoughts on the content. You might do this on a blog or in a journal or even in the margin of the books as you read.

I have been recording my thoughts on my blog, and while my thoughts may not be sublime (heck, they might not even be coherent!) they do tend to allow me to review what I have read.

  2. I’m not from someplace as exotic as Zambia, but I bet I’m the only challenge participant from the San Francisco Bay Area. You don’t find too many puritan fans around here, lemme tell ya, so that really ought to count for something…

OTOH, very “in” here in the SFBA is being a non-conformist and you can’t get much more non-conformist than the original Nonconformists!

  3. Jen,

Well, with all the wild animals you guys have over there, it may feel like Africa. 🙂 Yes, San Fran probably doesn’t have many Puritan-friendly folks, but that is why you are there, right?

BTW, do you know Justin Buzzard, who I think pastors in the area? Just curious.
